Florida Aging and

Disabilities Convening

Sept 12, 2019 | 1:00 - 4:00 pm

On the afternoon of September 12, our conference will officially get underway with opportunities for aging and disabilities advocates to join expert facilitated conversations on one of Florida’s biggest issues: protecting Medicaid for Florida’s aging and disabilities communities.

Whether you’re a provider, consumer, or concerned citizen, join us to share your experience on where the gaps in the system exists and how they can be addressed. This will also be a chance to learn about trends and best practices happening nationally and statewide.

The discussion will be led by Kelly Wilson, FVH’s LTC, Aging & Disability Advocate, and Karen Clay, former co-chair of the Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology.

This convening is free to attend!

You're also invited to join us for a conference welcome dinner on Thursday, September 12 ($10). That will be followed by the full day conference and health value boot camp on Friday, September 13 ($25).

All conference attendees will also receive a gift card:

  • Participate in 1 of 2 days (Sept. 12 or 13) - $10 gift card

  • Participate in BOTH days (Sept. 12 and 13) - $20 gift card
