My Journey from Uninsured to Covered

D.M. worked for an employer that did not provide health insurance. After living without coverage for a year, she learned about Florida's ACA Navigator services. She contacted the Navigators and was assigned to Lynette, who helped her learn about her coverage options, apply for SNAP benefits, and enroll in an affordable Marketplace plan. D.M. can’t praise Lynette enough: “She has so much knowledge about insurance and the Access program. She always returns my calls and keeps trying to get me when I don’t answer. She tries to understand the customer’s situation and assists them in any way she can.”

ACA Navigators throughout Florida are assisting individuals like D.M. to find affordable coverage, enabling them to receive the care they need to lead healthier lives. Get free assistance from a qualified local Florida Navigator at www.coveringflorida.org.
